Today's Best Mortgage Rates at Wells Fargo, Sun Trust and Bank of AmericaMortgage interest rates have edged downward again on Thursday, October 9 for many popular loan products, including adjustable rate mortgages and fixed rate loans. Many lenders are also quoting FHA loans at better interest rates.

Sun Trust Mortgage Rates

Sun Trust Bank advertises the standard 30-year fixed rate loan today at 3.99% with an APR of 4.1078%. A 30-year FHA loan is quoted at a lower 3.625% with an APR of 5.246%, while the best mortgage rate for a 30-year jumbo loan is a lower 4.125% with an APR of 4.231%. Sun Trust advertises the popular 15-year fixed mortgage at 3.125% today with an APR of 3.318%. A 5/1 ARM is quoted at 2.99% for the first five years with an APR of 2.933%, while the 7/1 ARM is published at 3.125% for the first seven years with an APR of 3.044%.

Wells Fargo Mortgage Rates

On Thursday, Wells Fargo advertises the benchmark 30-year fixed rate mortgage at a lower rate of 4.125% with an APR of 4.209%. Buyers can lock into a 30-year FHA loan today at a lower 3.875% interest rate with an APR of 5.456%. A shorter-term 15-year fixed loan is quoted at 3.500% with an APR of 3.647%. Buyers who want more flexibility can lock into a 5-year FHA ARM at 3.250% with an APR of 3.968% today. A 7-year ARM is quoted at 3.250% for the first seven years with an APR of 3.058%.

In designated areas, Wells Fargo offers larger conforming and FHA loan amounts. A larger 30-year fixed mortgage is published at 4.125% today with an APR of 4.167%. A larger 30-year FHA loan is published at a lower 3.750% with an APR of 5.283%. A larger 7-year ARM is quoted at 3.625% to start with an APR of 3.198%.

As the leading jumbo loan provider in the United States, Wells Fargo offers the standard 30-year jumbo loan at a competitive 4.000% with an APR of 4.028%. A 7-year jumbo ARM is quoted at 3.125% for the first seven years with an APR of 2.947%.

Bank of America Mortgage Rates

Bank of America advertises the popular 30-year fixed mortgage at a lower 4.000% interest rate today with an APR of 4.122%. The shorter-term 15-year fixed loan is quoted unchanged today at 3.375% with an APR of 3.540%. Buyers can lock into a 20-year fixed loan with an interest rate as low as 3.875% with an APR of 3.977%.

Refinance rates remain unchanged. A 30-year fixed refi loan is quoted at 4.125% with an APR of 4.195%. A 15-year refinance loan is published with the best rate of 3.500% with an APR of 3.626%. Homeowners can refinance into a 20-year fixed loan at 4.000% with an APR of 4.134%.
